A Tribute...

to the "Heart of Texas" Therapy Dogs who have crossed over The Rainbow Bridge

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own,
live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan."

Irving Townsend

      Rocky Candle

    1998 -  March 2008

A gentle soul...that brought great pleasure to people of all ages and will be missed by all.

      Marley Candle

    April 2003 - March 2008

A favorite at many different facilities.  Children and adults absolutely loved him. He was hands down the best hoop-jumper!

      Pixie Candle

    July 16, 1994 - February 1, 2008

She was an angel on earth but now she sits on someone's lap up in heaven.

      File' Candle

    2002 - January, 28 2008

Through her Agility, Freestyle Dancing and Therapy Dog work she brought great joy to many who had the pleasure to be with her.  We are sure she is already performing on the other side and bringing smiles to many.  While she is gone from this physical plain, she will dance in our minds forever.

      Rebel Candle

    April, 19 1995 - January, 18 2008

Rebel was our beloved boy who would do anything for me.  He came into our home at only seven weeks old.  He was never not with us, not one day, his entire life.  Therapy Dog work was his calling. He was a senior dog with great love to share.  Rebel is DEEPLY missed and he will never be forgotten. He had a great life.

      Lily Candle

    October 1994 -  November 2007

Her name was "Lily" because she was found at church on Easter Day at about six months of age. Lily was the second dog that Sheryll registered with TDInc.

    Rurik Candle

  June 2007

Although he was only with HOT Therapy Dogs for less than 2 yrs, I really do consider him to be a "child" of the Heart of Texas Therapy Dogs family.

    Jasmine Candle

   July 5, 2005- May 21, 2007

A precious English bulldog that entertained the residents at Arden Courts in her pink tutu. Her sweet wrinkly face will be greatly missed.

    Rocket Candle

    July 2006

This gentle Bernese Mountain dog was a blessing to people of all ages. He will be truly missed.

  Shasta Candle

July 1, 1995 - May 30, 2006

Although Shasta had not seen the sunshine in five years, she certainly brought much of it into our lives, and the lives of all she touched.  She will be remembered for her courage, her spirit & most of all, for the love she shared with us.
